Grand Héron et Oies des neiges

Voici 2 images du célèbre Grand Héron du Parc de la Frayère à Boucherville.

Grand Héron (Great Blue Heron — Ardea herodias)

Et voici quelques centaines d'Oies des neiges au réservoir Beaudet de Victoriaville. D'ici quelques semaines il y en aura des dizaines de milliers, je me promet d'y retourner.

Celle des oies sauvages est très impressionnante et a de très belles couleurs. Celles du héron sont superbes également! Bravo pour ces belles photos Dominic!

Superb Heron image.Interestingly we have an American Green Heron in Cornwall (South West England) at the moment. A very rare species for us.

What splendid captures of the Heron and the one with the fish in it's mouth...how on earth did it find the fish in the green of the rise up on the water. I love the colour variations of the water and the heron, just amazing together~
